In life it’s not uncommon to feel disappointed when we don’t get what we think we wanted or, conversely, that we feel distressed when we get what we think we didn’t want. ✨
Considering this, it’s good to think about the people and things that we chase as well as those people and things we try to avoid. ✨
Why? Because it would be far better to practice self-control in those areas of our lives where we are likely resisting the fact that certain things are beyond our control while allocating more time concentrating on dealing with the situations and things within our power that are not good for us or good for us. ✨
