Make two lists: The things you have to do and the things you want to do.
Which one is longer? Do they intersect? Does the ‘have to do’ list have any fun things on it? Do you have a plan as to how you’ll get to do the things on your ‘want to do’ list?
Ideally our days include a combo of doing what we have to do and time spent checking off and enjoying things we want to do, too.
