A good heart is the key to opening many locked hearts. A good heart can melt the hardest hearts. A good heart can make enemies friends and turn tears back into smiles. A good heart inspires, lifts, softens, soothes, and heals the hurts of others.

A good heart forgives. Stays positive in the face of challenges and never makes excuses. A good heart grabs others, reaches into their hearts, gathering them to venture forth together.

A good heart tries its best to not judge who, what or where others have been. A good heart focuses on what one is today.

A good heart gets hurt. It can break but also heal.

A good heart opens itself to the world over and over again.  It does not take the actions of others personally. Rather a good heart understands that sometimes others are suffering from closed hearts.

A good heart shines through smiles and brightens the world for itself and others. It’s normal to wonder if it’s good to have a good heart. Sometimes good hearts get taken advantage of — but the benefits of a good heart far outweigh any downsides.
