Truth is something we don’t have to remember. If we keep our truths close to our hearts, they become an intuitive guide for our highly personal choices in life. Truth helps our lives become more peaceful. We don’t have to rack our brains trying to recall what truth we told. The same cannot be said for lies. This is why, whether we want to face it or not, another truism is: The truth will set us free.

The best relationships are based on common truths, respecting truth, living with truth. Still, we don’t necessarily have to speak our truths to others with words because our actions are far more effective.

While truths are universal, it is up to each of us to find our own truths and then choose our actions accordingly.

PS: On the day this photo was taken, I think I might have been trying to make a heart sign with my hands around my heart…or maybe I was just trying to keep the freezing wind off my chest! 😉
