I once read that time is free but it’s priceless. We don’t own it but we can use it. We can’t keep it but we spend it.
Time is nonrefundable, so it’s best spent by concentrating on our better intentions for maximum returns. As we get older, time really seems to show us what matters. Both the years we’ve lived and the life in those years have been excellent teachers, if we paid attention.
Hopefully, sooner rather than later, we learn to value our time and recognize that we’d better be enjoying the finite amount we have. Because the trouble is, we think we have time. But we’ve only got the moment.
One day or day one. It’s a daily choice.
