Smile no matter what is happening in life. Practice smiling when feeling sad, angry, depressed, frustrated, lonely or any other emotion that feels like drowning.  This is not denial of the full range of human emotions. Rather, it is a healthy way to remind ourselves that we DO have an array of emotions and after hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes as well as every other force of nature, the sun comes out to remind us that it’s not all bad.

Smiling is contagious. It’s a natural medicine that triggers mood elevating endorphins and can reduce blood pressure. Smiling attracts others. It’s easier to smile than frown and it exercises our facial muscles. Smiling makes us all look more beautiful!
