Next time you find yourself upset about what you think someone did, or said, or implied about you, or how you dressed, or what you thought, or what you bought, or what you want to do, or what you don’t want to do, or what you believe or not, or what you want to do for a living, or what you want to eat, or where you want to go, or how you like to let loose, or how you may have embarrassed yourself, or ANYTHING ELSE — remember this:Ā  According to the United Nations Population Clock there are 7,700,000,000 or 7+ BILLION people living on Planet Earth.

Do you seriously think they all care enough to be secretly judging you?Ā

They don’t. They’re not. And livingĀ your best life has nothing to do with taking opinion polls.Ā Ā

Far too much time is wasted by every one of us worrying about what we think others around us think about us.Ā

Instead of wasting time worrying about whatever happened yesterday or a week ago or last year — Set a moral compass on doing the right thing on the important things.Ā After doing that? Let yourself rip! The rest is all quite unimportant and most likely not noticed by others or already forgotten about. So it’s a mistake to self-flagellate and linger in past history.Ā  IF you really think whatever you did is relevant and that it might have hurt another? Apologize sincerely, directly and clear your conscience.Ā  Then, give yourself permission to move forward — knowing that you tried. And trying our best is the best we can do.Ā
