#AD. I will admit, I was rather reluctant to consider an AARP membership.  BUT in hindsight — and you know the truth usually comes after the “but” — I realize, dare I say, that I was “uninformed” as to the many AARP Member Benefits that I could have been taking advantage of, had I been just a little bit more open-minded. You see, if I’d put ego aside and sent in my $16 check (only $12 annually if I opted for automatic renewal), I would have immediately benefited from a big variety of valuable discounts! The upside return of joining sooner would have been well worth it. For example, I shop at my local Walgreens often.  When you link your AARP membership and Walgreens Balance Rewards cards*,  you get 5x everyday points on Walgreens brand health and wellness products. That’s 50 points per $1 spent!* And 3X everyday points off beauty purchases. That’s  30 points per $1 spent.  As you know, I’m all about getting a good bargain, so I’m passing this along.

Now is a great time to head over to @Walgreens to shop their many health and beauty products, including vitamins and supplements, skincare products, make up, personal hygiene and more!

Bottom line, the savings and benefits I receive as an AARP member more than compensate for the low annual fee.  If you’re not a AARP member, you can easily sign up and get access to these great deals and discounts here. And, if you were previously an AARP member and want to renew your membership, you can do so here.  Lastly, click here to link your AARP membership and Walgreens Balance Rewards cards. *Restrictions apply.
