Possibility is the condition or fact of being possible. It is one’s utmost power, capacity or ability. Possibility provides us with a chance to change our circumstances for the better at any point in our lives. Possibility can happen in most unexpected ways. While there may be certain possibilities that pass with time, infinite, new and different possibilities for wonderful unexpected potential experiences present themselves almost daily—if we’re open to the possibility.

Age does not diminish the likelihood of possibilities presenting themselves; however, our minds may, if they are closed to possibility or believe it no longer exists.

I can assure you, possibility still exists for every one of us, just differently. This is fine. We’re all different; our desires to experience certain possibilities are different from each others’ and our dreams for ourselves have likely changed over time. As such, be watchful and open to seeing possibilities, as they often come disguised in unexpected ways.

Since we can never predict when or how life will present our exciting possibilities, prospects, opportunities, adventures and friendships, we must practice accepting that possibility exists today and every day.

The existence of possibility for each of us today is a fact. There’s nothing “whoo-whoo” about it. Through meetings of chance with others throughout my life, door after door has opened. As unprepared as I might have felt, as uneducated to the opportunity as I may have been—I’ve entered every door that was graciously opened. I’m grateful for every person I’ve ever met. Some offered me entry directly, others in more circuitous ways.

If we want to exponentially increase our own possibilities, we must start believing in the possibilities of others as well. By helping other people whenever we can, in any ways we’re capable, we increase our own possibility in spades.

Believe me—if you don’t yet believe this yourself. Stay on the lookout for opportunities to do unto others and watch what comes back. Be open to the possibilities.
