No matter how old or wise we become, no matter how much we meditate, we will still have days when someone manages to raise our ire. So here’s the quickest way I know of to deal with that disappointment, anger or whatever else we’re feeling.  Remember how hard it is to change yourself.

When we flip our thinking back to us and our own actions, recalling how we struggle with changing our own less-than-fulfilling actions, we can start to see others with kinder eyes.  Doing this, also reminds us that maybe we just need to accept whoever it is for who they are…because the odds of them changing? About as high as you changing whatever is your most significant challenge.
