Life gets a lot better when we focus on how far we’ve come vs. how far we have to go. Sometimes just acknowledging where we are in the exact moment we are in, is enough.

Taking this forward by example, let’s say we want to eat better; maybe lose a few pounds or many; shape up; exercise; and, get healthier— the victory is in each moment we choose to do something that moves us forward in that direction. Each of those choices add up to the end goal. If we can make the right choice in the moment, we will instantly feel happier and we won’t be so focused on how far we still have to go. Much of life satisfaction is defined through moment by moment decisions.
