Of all the things we wear, our expression is the most important. All of us spend at least some time during our days looking in the mirror. We check out our hair, makeup and clothing. As we pass glass windows, our image catches our attention.

The most important thing to check out when we see our reflection is really not whether our accoutrements are in place. More importantly, it is our expression that should be our focus. Are we frowning too much from worry? Bunching up our face with stress? Looking tired from lack of sleep or drawn from some excesses? Is the reflection looking back at us someone we’d like to know? Or would their expression make us turn away because they look angry?

I once read that everything in our lives reflects the choices we’ve made. So if we want to change the image we see looking back at us for the better, we may want to carefully consider the choices we make going forward.
