If I ever went on a Silver Disobedience World Domination Tour, I’d like to walk out on stage to the song “I’m 18” written & recorded by @AliceCooper (Dunway, Buxton, Bruce & Smith.) I’d choose this song, not because I am 18 (Duh…Obviously!) And, not because I’m a boy or a man, as I’m a female and I’m OK with that. But, because of all the other feelings that song conveys to me. It talks about wrinkles forming on our faces caused by life and the challenges of being in the middle between phases (a perpetual challenge, for me, at least) and best of all? Liking it, in fact, loving it!

I don’t believe we lose any of those questioning feelings at any stage of life. Well maybe we do, but perhaps I will have to get a lot older or, dare I say, more mature to feel those more settled feelings.

IF you’re not familiar with the song, here are a few excerpts from the song…

“Lines form on my face and my hands

Lines form on the left and right

I’m in the middle

The middle of life

I’m a boy and I’m a man

I’m eighteen and I like it

Yes I like it

Oh I like it

Love it

Like it

Love it”

PS:  In case you’re wondering, my exit song would be “Home Sweet Home” by @MotleyCrue  The reason? I’ll be exhausted after my show, which will have ended past my bedtime!  So, I’ll be ready to get right home so I can get a good night’s sleep and wake up for my next 6am call time!

PSS: These are more studio light test shots. Can you feel my angst as I try to get the lighting right?!

PSSS:  Jack & Geroy — Can you play those songs? I’ll need a band!
