I used to be indecisive, now I’m not so sure.

With every year I find I want more silver — and I’m not talking about my hair or silver in my pockets, although that’s nice.  Rather perception-wise, I’d like more silver or gray to fill in the wide range of possibilities that exist between the extremes of black and white thinking.

I don’t want to be wrong…but I don’t want to need to be right.

I believe our age is less about an accumulation of years and more importantly the process and celebration of getting to know ourselves and others better over time, but also with greater kindness.

I want to disprove that there is a prognosis that comes with aging. I don’t believe anyone has the right to define the likely course of another’s life — no matter what a diagnosis might be.  I want to be proof that as long as we’re eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, staying active, breathing deeply to manage our inevitable stress, getting a good night’s rest, and basically being moderate in all things — that for the most part, we can remain vital and strong due to our choices and actions, assuming we look both ways when crossing the street…and understanding sometimes s%&t happens…but for the most part, we can handle it together.
