If you find yourself feeling like you’re stuck in a day to day routine; forgetting what you did yesterday; lacking enthusiasm for tomorrow, while not particularly enjoying today…you might have inadvertently shifted your Life into autopilot mode. It can happen, and you might not even realize it’s happened…so keep reading. ✨

Autopilot mode happens when we’re just going about living life, while wishing for more, but not really sure if there is more or how to get it. This autopilot feature can be especially destructive when it hits our most important personal relationships. ✨

When we slip into autopilot mode, something in our lives has gotten out of balance. All work & no play; unrelenting stress; complications that feel unsurmountable; or maybe just plain too much of the status quo “routine”. ✨

If you can relate to any of the above, don’t worry! You can kickstart your engine, regain your momentum, and re-embrace living for the limited time we’re here. ✨Here are a few easy ways to get back to revving on all cylinders. ✨

1. Stop and look around. This is a literal direction. Stop whatever is boring you and observe your surroundings. Engage with your senses of sight, sound and touch. The other day I watched an adorable almost 3 year old at his first soccer practice! He noticed a leaf on the field and it captivated his attention as he gently moved it safely off the field. Follow this visual and take time to notice all the little things around you that once captured your attention with wonder when you were younger.✨

2. Reassess your short and long-term goals. First off, do you have any? Thinking about our more immediate and longer term goals reinvigorates our sense of purpose. Goals serve as reminders of what we’re working for and towards. ✨

3. Think about your most important relationships. When was the last time you did something spontaneous that showed them you care?  Now would be a good time to get creative. Be the one to boldly act first to change up the status quo. ✨

4. Move your body. When we are sitting around too much, minds drift. Get in touch with your amazing body by committing to more movement. ✨

Let me know how you feel!
