The greatest dissatisfactions in life come from the phrase, “If only…”  ✨

Whatever the “if only” is — is irrelevant. You didn’t. They didn’t. It didn’t. It wasn’t. ✨

“If only” implies that we retrospectively believe we had fairly good reasons to do otherwise at the time. But, maybe we did or maybe we didn’t. ✨

It further comes with the ridiculous assumption that all the subsequent events that might have unfolded  would have been wonderful “if only.” ✨

The reality is that “if only” thinking keeps us stuck in fantasies, the past and dreaming of another life instead of the one we have. ✨

The life we have is what we make of it — today. And you know what? That is good enough. ✨

Just keep showing up! ✨
