Life is a series of challenges. Finish one, another one is lining up. In a way, it’s a daily fight. The secret is to “fight the good fight” as the expression goes. Don’t let it overwhelm you. You can handle it. Yes, you might need to adapt and even fight your way through each situation that’s thrown at you. But as American boxer Jake LaMotta who held the World Middleweight Champion Title and who was the inspiration to the movie Raging Bull said: “The secret is to move with the punches.”

Expanding on that idea, boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who floated to the Heavyweight Championship of the World while stinging like a bee, said: “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. nothing is impossible.”

And lastly…in his Silver Disobedient years, Mr. Ali also said:   “A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 wasted 30 years of his life.”

I know for sure that nobody in this daily conversation would disagree with that closing punch.

PS: I chose this photo because it reminded me of those clips when the boxer walks into the ring in their robe with the hood up!
