Need to change up the quarantine mood? In no particular order, here are 15 personal mental To-Do List items that we can start today and continue doing every day.
Remember, good things come from good habits. So, begin a new habit.
If you need to rest, take a nap.
Write a letter to someone you love, put a stamp on it, and mail it.
Watch an educational video online about something you always wanted to learn.
Speak with a family member or friend and ask them to tell you something about themselves that you don’t know.
Find a recipe and make a new meal entirely from scratch. Set the table, sit down and enjoy it.
Repot your plants.
Kiss the palm of your hand, close up your fingers, squeeze tight. Then imagine sending that kiss to someone you love.
Write down 3 things that were great about today.
Clean the dust that’s under your couch and bed.
Pray for someone who may be struggling more than you.
Make a list of what you want to accomplish this year.
Feed the birds some seeds or crumbs.
Drop off food or make a donation of any amount to a homeless shelter.
Sit down to meditate without a plan for an outcome. Just focus on breathing evenly.
