We are all ongoing emotional and physical construction projects. We benefit from assessing where we’ve built walls, due to fears or believing in limitations, because by recognizing their presence, we can figure out new ways to expand them to make more room for Life.

It’s our job to own that we are the architects of our lives because as the saying goes, “Happiness is an inside job.” So, we all need to regularly review our plans, while knowing that nothing great was ever built alone. Plenty of collaborators will be necessary along the way, and aren’t we lucky for that, even though all of them will have their own designs in mind.

Still, by maintaining the right perspectives we can build our lives in a way that will make the impossible possible. Construction is not always a comfortable living arrangement, but it’s still the foundation for how dreams are built.
