I write about change a lot. Maybe it’s because I once read that if you don’t change today, your tomorrow’s will be like your yesterdays. Now let me say, there was nothing wrong with my yesterday. In fact, I liked yesterday and it was good. But since I don’t know what day I’m checking out of here, I prefer having new things happening today.  I like challenges that make me think. I like changing things up.  Challenges because I’m forced to test myself, changing because I have no choice but to confront head on whatever I might be afraid of facing.

None of my suggestions to change things up implies that things are wrong the way they are.  I think of this as an addition equation, not a subtraction one.  And more changes and challenges? They keep me on my toes, fire up my brain cells and keep my heart pumping. Changes make us adapt, learn, grown, become more productive, be more creative, test our resilience and adaptability, tweak our skills to create better future outcomes if necessary and challenge our restrictive comfort zones.
