A big array of emotions compound and underlie our desires if — or when — we start to contemplate changing anything that we deem to be significant in our lives. These changes don’t have to be momentous! For example: Think about the polls you start taking when you contemplate such things as basic as…Should I dye my hair or cut it? Should I start this new job? Should I move to this new neighborhood? And so forth.

Emotions rise because we start to look at owning our decisions. This might also include accepting the responsibilities and realities; taking on the steps to make change happen; along with plans for next steps as we set up action plans.

Unknowns prevail.

What will everyone think?

How will they react?

While we might wonder about all this, it’s helpful to recognize that “the unknown” is the biggest hurdle most of us will ever have to get over if and when we decide that we really want to live an ageless life!

Living agelessly — which is living so that we own every decision we make along with the circumstances of our lives  — means that we’ll have to accept…

 1) We’ll never be able to predict exactly how others will feel or react to anything –not now, nor in the future.

2) The only way relationship dynamics can improve is by taking the initiative to change up things that aren’t working by finding productive ways to work together to create a greater sense of fulfillment both apart and together.

And knowing that…

3) When we commit to change, those surrounding us will notice, have no choice but to accept our decision, and often begin to change for the better as well.

Just a thought for you to ponder … along with me!  Please share your reactions, ideas, contemplations and whatever the heck else this inspired within you!
