We don’t usually realize we’ve learned something until after the fact. This is a good reason for remaining open, flexible and curious.

Learning requires attention. When we resist giving our “attention” to things that may demand our time, “tension” tends to build in our bodies. The same happens if we focus on stuff that is really unnecessary.

This “a-tension” conundrum may be one of the best reasons for remaining attuned and aware of all that is happening while recognizing that being open, flexible and curious may not require a response — other than a deep tension releasing breath.
